Lauren A. Jeffries, J.D.

Lauren Jeffries is a graduate of Elon University School of Law. With over nine years of experience practicing law, she excels in advocating for her clients, both in the courtroom and out. Additional legal experience includes 4+ years working for Legal Aid of North Carolina as a lead negotiator for multiple state-wide consumer protection projects, where she helped clients avoid foreclosure. In this capacity, she worked closely with executives in the banking industry.

While at Elon, Lauren was involved in the Legal Aid Domestic Violence Clinic, the Innocence Project, the Women's Law Association, the Business Law Association, and served on the Moot Court Board. She was also involved with Amnesty International, the Sports and Entertainment Law Association, the International Law Students Association, and Outlaw, the LGBTQIA+ Association. Following graduation, she served as a Judge for several years in the Billings, Exum, & Frye National Moot Court Competition.

Lauren enjoys hiking and backpacking adventures. Her favorite was a 6-day trip hiking trip through Mt. Zion National Park. She also likes to listen to live music and explore various musical venues in the Piedmont Triad.

On weekends, she can be found experimenting with new recipes and baking delicious treats for family and friends.

She has one very feisty cat—an orange tabby named Max.
